Yes, I identify as an introvert, hence the title of this blog. I don’t think that should come as a surprise to anyone that knows me. I’m pretty content most of the time but I have to say that it is challenging to live in a world that seems to cater to extroverts. I know…that’s my perception of things.
A few members of my PLN on Twitter, actively discuss the differences between introverts and extroverts and I have been following the discussion with great interest. Brian aka @edtechempowers, recently shared the following link:

This really struck home for me as many of the points he brought up were things that I had struggled with in terms of explaining to people, “why I am the way I am”. The list itself was compiled from the book, ” The Introverted Advantage: How to Thrive in an Extroverted World” by Marti Laney. I haven’t got around to reading this book but it is definitely on my list of books to read.
In any case, it’s now time to finish drinking my tea as I enjoy my quiet time;)
